Role Overview
The Presales Executive will work closely with sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design Azure-based solutions, deliver presentations and demos, and support the presales cycle within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Consulting
- Understand customer pain points, requirements, and business needs.
- Design Azure-based solutions aligned with customer objectives.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, PoCs, and workshops.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, and architecture recommendations.
2. Presales Support
- Work with sales teams to develop responses for RFPs/RFIs.
- Create and tailor solution pitches for different industries.
- Assist in pricing, licensing, and subscription plan recommendations.
3. Collaboration
- Coordinate with technical delivery teams for solution validation.
- Work closely with Microsoft and cloud ecosystem partners for technical enablement.
- Support solution design during customer meetings and onboarding.
4. Market & Product Understanding
Stay updated on Azure services, cloud trends, and competitive offerings.
Recommend the right combination of Azure services based on customer needs.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, services, and cloud environments.
- Experience in consultative selling and a solution-based approach.
- Ability to convert customer requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Worked with or for Microsoft Partner companies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Partner programs and incentives.
- Lead Generation & Market Development:
- Ability to identify and qualify leads for Azure services.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Preferred Background
- Experience in Microsoft Partner companies or cloud-focused organizations.
- Exposure to cloud migration, modernization, and managed services projects.
- Understanding of Azure pricing models, licensing, and subscription structures.
