Dynamics 365 Business Central Release Wave 2

As you all probably know and aware by now, starting from October 1st Microsoft released a new Dynamics 365 Business Central. Which we may call October release, Wave 2 release either platform 15 release.

Wave 2 release introduces important features including changes for customers and partners:

• Refreshing new Business Central icon
• New user interface features;
• New platform features (multiple production environments, the possibility to handle backups, etc);
• No more Windows Client (Wave 2 release is Web Client only);
• No more C/AL and C/SIDE: all customizations are now by AL language and extensions;
• Support for technical upgrades;
• Cancel issued reminders and finance charge memos;
• End-User Updates;
  • Add links to navigation menu
  • Customize a user profile without writing code
  • Filter option fields by multiple values
  • Save and personalize list views
  • Enhancements to Excel integrations
