How to migrate data with dimension using Configuration Worksheet?

March 19th, 2020 Intech SystemKapil Puvar Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics, Tips & Tricks

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV there are many methods one can migrate data. The choice depends upon the data and the additional process needs to be carried out on the data.
If you are giving Main master and Default Dimension master separately to the client to fill up and uploading separately in Navision, then this functionality will help you to reduce the number of working hours for a client and you too.
By this function, we can export and import main master data with the default dimension in a single excel sheet. It helps to streamline the importing of opening balances into journals, and active documents with dimensions. It not only reduces the deployment time but also improves quality, automates as well as simplifies the recurring tasks.
In this blog, we will discuss how can we migrate any data with dimension through Configuration Worksheet.
